Slate Hearth stones for Fireplaces

Slate is ideal for use as fireplace hearth stones and is available in a variety of sizes and thickness and shapes . We are able to offer a cutting service if you require a different size to our standard size blanks. One piece T shaped hearths are very popular and can be cut out of any piece of the slate that we have and are a nice way to finish off a fire place we also are able to a variety of other shaped ones which are viable in a range of finishes. All of our slabs have a very smooth natural riven surface and come with standard sawn edges. We also offer a half bullnose finish or a 5mm Bevelled edge finish which do attract additional costs.
